About The Position
Are you a passionate Python/C++ programmer with a strong background in distributed systems and operating systems fundamentals, eager to collaborate in a supportive and dynamic environment? If so, joining our team as a Member of Technical Staff -2 will provide you with the opportunity to lead exciting projects, enhance your technical skills alongside experienced engineers, and make a significant impact on core data solutions for our customers. The team, Core Data Path, is based in San Jose, California, and is dedicated to developing innovative solutions within the core data landscape of Nutanix. The team culture is collaborative, fostering open communication and teamwork, which allows for diverse perspectives in problem-solving. The mission of this team is to enhance the performance and reliability of distributed systems while providing exceptional customer support, ensuring that they meet the evolving needs of the industry. You will report to the Hiring Manager, who adopts a supportive and mentorship-focused leadership style, encouraging professional growth among team members. The work setup for this role is hybrid, requiring team members to be in the office two to three days a week, offering flexibility within that range for optimal collaboration. This role does not require travel, allowing team members to focus their efforts on local projects and interactions with internal stakeholders.
