About The Position
As a Member Frontline Cashier Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our members. You will be the first, last, and sometimes the only associate that members interact with, making your role vital in ensuring they feel welcomed and appreciated. Your responsibilities will include running registers, assisting members with the self-checkout experience, and maintaining a clean and organized area. The pace of work can be fast, especially during peak hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays, requiring you to juggle multiple tasks efficiently while providing excellent customer service. You will be expected to greet and thank each member, ensuring they leave the club satisfied and happy. In this position, you will also be responsible for maintaining the safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps and following company policies regarding hazardous materials. You will assist members with their purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, resolve issues, and promote the company's products and services. Your ability to provide guidance on self-service technology and process transactions accurately will be essential. Additionally, you will be expected to comply with company policies and standards of ethics, ensuring a high level of integrity in all interactions.
