About The Position

At VASA Fitness, the Member Experience Specialist is the first point of contact for members, responsible for creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. This role involves warmly greeting members, fostering personal connections, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club to make it feel like home. Specialists also guide members through their fitness journey by providing information on memberships, upgrades, and personal training options. Every interaction aims to make members feel valued, motivated, and eager to return, contributing to life-changing experiences.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and working independently
  • 1+ year of customer service, membership sales preferred
  • Interest in health, wellness, and fitness
  • Ability to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual skills
  • CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Set the tone for every visit by being the first friendly face at the front desk
  • Greet members warmly and create personal connections
  • Keep the club clean and organized
  • Guide members on their fitness journey by sharing information about memberships, upgrades, and personal training options
  • Ensure guests and members feel welcomed with a smile and eye contact
  • Achieve memberships, upgrades, and personal training sales through confident conversations and tours
  • Take ownership to keep every area of the club clean (including bathrooms, front desk area, etc.), organized, and inviting
  • Address member needs quickly with helpful solutions
  • Share feedback with leadership and use it to improve the member experience
