Education/Experience/Training/Certifications At minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent (over 18+ years of age) Prior customer service experience in a busy work environment is required Experience with computers is preferred, but not required Having an outgoing, dependable, and self-starter attitude is requested
Requirements
- At minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent (over 18+ years of age)
- Prior customer service experience in a busy work environment is required
- Ability to hear and observe all members and potential members of the Y’s concerns and questions
- Skills to meet strength and lifting requirements
- Availability on weekends and opening shifts
Nice To Haves
- Experience with computers is preferred, but not required
- Having an outgoing, dependable, and self-starter attitude is requested
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests through greeting, managing and addressing member concerns, directing to programs and activities, and answering phones.
- Facilitate all business functions related to membership and program registrations with exceptional customer service and accuracy.
- Build a positive first impression with a warm smile and personal greeting for all who encounter the YMCA by upholding the YMCA core values.
- Uphold the membership experience best practices.
- Performs other assigned duties as directed by Supervisor
