We’re looking for a Community Engagement & Events Specialist to bring energy, creativity, and connection to our clubs and communities. In this role, you’ll design and deliver experiences that delight members, celebrate culture, create community, and showcase our brand through both in-club events and community activations. You’ll partner with regional leaders, club managers, and the internal marketing team to plan and execute events that range from member appreciation nights and fitness challenges to supporting grand openings and community partnerships.   • Plan and execute member-focused events: appreciation parties, seasonal celebrations, and fitness challenges.
  • Develop loyalty and engagement initiatives to strengthen retention and culture.
  • Celebrate member milestones and achievements to enhance the member experience.
  • Support external events, such as grand openings, health fairs, local races, and other community events.
  • Build relationships with community partners, vendors, and sponsors to expand brand visibility.
  • Work with regional leaders and club managers to ensure consistent execution across clubs.
  • Provide playbooks, toolkits, and training for event delivery.
  • Liaise with instructors, speakers, and special guests to prepare engaging experiences.
  • Manage event calendars, budgets, vendors, and logistics.
  • Oversee setup, staffing, and onsite execution to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Track participation, engagement, and ROI with post-event reports.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through email, SMS, social media, and in-club channels.
  • Ensure cohesive branding across all materials and touchpoints.
  • Generate buzz and media interest where appropriate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in event planning, community engagement, hospitality, or customer experience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to deliver memorable experiences.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends for event coverage.
  • A love of fitness, health clubs, or hospitality is a plus.
