About The Position

The Greater Burlington YMCA is seeking Member Childcare Associates to provide care for youth members in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. This role supports families, interacts with children, and contributes to a mission-driven team focused on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The position is located at the YMCA Facility at 298 College Street, Burlington VT, with shifts varying across weekdays, weekends, mornings, and evenings, particularly throughout the summer.

Requirements

Professional experience in childcare or working with children.
Patience, understanding, and enthusiasm for working with youth.
Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Care for Children: Provide a safe, engaging, and high-quality childcare experience for youth members.
