About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to service Members and Guests at the bag drop. A welcoming smile with the appropriate greeting is essential to providing a warm welcome to Pinehurst Country Club. Securing clubs on a cart and assistance with directions if needed and “have a great day/round” contribute to an enjoyable experience while on property.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or (GED) required
  • Minimum of one year related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to move quickly, jogging to retrieve vehicles in a quick and safe manner.
  • Must be able to open doors, drive automatic and manual vehicles and be able to safely operate a variety of vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and load golf bags on carts for play.
  • Clean clubs and have ready at the bag drop for pick-up at the time of departure.
  • Complete assigned cleaning duties.
  • Assist Golf Professionals with staging for Member outings.
  • Be knowledgeable of the local area and assist with directions.
  • Transport bags to and from Club Storage and special event staging area.
  • Inspect and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Wash golf carts if needed.
  • Detail and perform routine maintenance on golf carts.
  • Cross train in other areas when requested by supervisor.
