About The Position

The Member Associate III position at Kitsap Credit Union is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service to members by assisting with financial transactions, new accounts, and educating them on various products and services. This role emphasizes building relationships with members and meeting their financial needs through personalized service and effective sales techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling, customer service and/or retail sales experience.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and extended business hours.
• Must be registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) within 30 days of assuming level III of the Member Associate role and comply with the SAFE Act regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with their financial needs, new accounts, and transactions.
• Identify, develop, and close business relationships to build market position.
• Educate and introduce current and new members to new products and services, self-service, and assisted self-serve options.
• Understand and recommend products and services based on the member's need.
• Use effective sales techniques that result in a positive member experience and meet or exceed sales goals.
• Complete all documentation and forms accurately and efficiently according to policies, procedures, and regulations.
