The position is located at the Prairie City Branch in Prairie City, OR. The role involves handling various teller transactions with a high level of accuracy, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking services. The candidate will be responsible for operating various office equipment and maintaining a professional demeanor while assisting members with their banking needs. The job requires adherence to all relevant regulations and policies, as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

  • Operate a telephone, coin machine, scanner, fax machine, ten-key/calculator, currency counter, copier, drive-up equipment, ATMs, cash recyclers, and general office supplies.
  • Handle all teller transactions with a high level of accuracy.
  • Assist members with online banking inquiries and complete change of address forms.
  • Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at frequent intervals.
  • Answer the phone in a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Conduct membership identification and verification.
  • Lead by example to foster an environment supportive of the Credit Union's values.
  • Participate in community and business development activities.
  • Adhere to all teller policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
  • Minimum of six (6) months cash handling and customer service or sales experience.
  • Must be bondable.
  • Basic computer skills including Email and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to operate various office equipment and perform clerical tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
