About The Position

Position Overview: Are you passionate about helping others and delivering exceptional customer service? As part of the Member Advocate Team at MedOne, you'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice assisting our members, pharmacies, and healthcare providers with their pharmacy benefits. We are especially encouraging candidates with an active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification to apply, as your expertise will be highly valued in this role. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including rotating Saturdays and evening shifts
  • Reliability and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

  • An active CPhT (Pharmacy Tech Certification) is highly encouraged but not required.
  • Willingness to obtain certification as a pharmacy technician within one year of hire.
  • Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
  • Spanish speaking abilities are highly valued for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Member Advocates are the primary source of information for members, pharmacies, and physicians via phone, email, and chat.
  • Provide information and resolve member, pharmacy, and physician inquiries.
  • Research and resolve claim processing and eligibility issues
  • Serve as an intermediary between healthcare organizations and members in facilitating patient care
  • Compile and record information and correspondence related to member needs or requirements
  • Document engagement outcomes and steps taken with clarity and concision
  • Think quickly on one’s feet while navigating multiple systems to effectively engage with members
  • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with other departments to resolve issues and improve the member, physician, and pharmacy experience
  • Effectively work through difficult conversations with members while maintaining composure, showing empathy, and displaying active listening skills
