About The Position

Are you ready to take the heat and play a critical role in our metal casting process? Join our team as a 2nd Shift Melter and help us shape quality from the ground up. As a 2nd Shift Melter you’ll be at the heart of our melting operations —responsible for melting aluminum to exact specifications. Your primary focus will be ensuring the delivery of in-spec metal, at the right temperature, and on time to meet production needs. You will work closely with our Molders to produce high-quality castings that meet our standards and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of safe work practices in a hot environment
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions
• Team player with a willingness to learn and adapt

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in metal melting or foundry operations (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Perform melting operations in accordance with detailed work instructions and quality standards
• Melt aluminum to required specifications using proper techniques and equipment
• Ensure timely delivery of metal at the correct temperature for casting
• Collaborate with Molders and other team members to ensure casting quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments
