Melt Shop Crew Member II Wage: $19.50 then $20.00 when probationary period ends (.50 cent differential for night shift) Day shift: 7am to 7pm / 4 on, 4 off Night shift: 7pm to 7am / 4 on, 4 off 12-hour shifts / Steady days/nights Prior steel mill or industrial furnace experience Tow motor and crane experience are required and welding experience a plus! Must have reliable transportation

Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • High school Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Welding experience a plus!
  • Remote Crane: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Metal working
  • Manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Assisting operators with creating steel ingots from scratch
  • Preparing raw materials for melting process
  • Helping with pouring & molding process
  • Organizing breaking down and re-building launders with the use of hand tools, air powered tools use of overhead crane is also required
  • Moves materials via tow motor and/or remove them with overhead crane
  • Housekeeping and organizing
