Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program (CPhT).
• Minimum of one year pharmacy experience preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy technician in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for inclusion into the meds to beds discharge prescription program.
• Facilitate transmission of meds to beds prescriptions to the pharmacy.
• Perform data entry for prescriptions.
• Deliver meds to beds medications to the patient prior to discharge.
• Function as a pharmacy technician within the Community Pharmacy when needed.
