About The Position

This role will be responsible for the Assembly of a Dryer Unit. Using WCM related tools operators are required to have high standards for Quality and Safety while performing job related duties. Operators will use a variety of tools and equipment, and work as part of a team to accomplish daily targets.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 18 years old
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Effective communication skills

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years previous assembly or manufacturing experience
• 1+ years experience in a continuous improvement environment

Responsibilities

• Fasten or assemble light and medium size parts and make wire connections
• Interact and/or run light machinery
• Operate electrical, hydraulic and air activated hand tools
• Read and follow standard work directions on the assembly line
• Work in a team environment embedded in lean manufacturing methodology
• Drive plant performance through Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Area cleanliness for process flow improvement
• Perform other tasks or duties as assigned by area Supervisor or Department Manager
• Must have the ability to bend, push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to continuously stand or walk during shift
• Will climb ladders or work on elevated surface on occasional basis during shift
