Huron’s Healthcare Technology Services Group (HTSG) works with healthcare organizations to solve their most complex EHR challenges, so we are constantly searching for skilled technical consultants to help our clients maximize their technology investments. Our MEDITECH Solution Consultants come with a wide variety of experience leveraging their technical expertise to help our clients enhance their EHR platform to improve care delivery, patient outcomes and profitability. As the MEDITECH Solution Consultant, you will: Partner with healthcare clients and other stakeholders to ensure the effective use of their MEDITECH system. Collaborate with a team of consulting professionals to deliver technical solutions to our healthcare clients, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and regulatory requirements. Provide insights on MEDITECH's system workflows, upgrades, system changes and ongoing maintenance while identifying opportunities for system optimization and enhancements. Facilitate meetings effectively and efficiently to stakeholders of all levels through the development of clear agendas and objectives, documenting notes and ensuring follow-ups are tracked and completed. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) or equivalent experience are valued.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the MEDITECH Expanse Lab/LIS system.
  • Experience successfully building MEDITECH Expanse LIS and experience must include blood bank, microbiology, and pathology.
  • Experience training LIS resources.
  • Must have an in depth experience training on Microbiology.
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate the MEDITECH Lab solutions to client audiences.
  • Must be able to provide best practices and lessons learned from other facilities.
  • Willingness to travel onsite 50% of the time.
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) or equivalent work experience
  • Previous consulting experience
