About The Position

We are seeking a Medication Technician to join our team at our Senior Living Community. The Medication Technician will be responsible for administering medication to our residents and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Current Medication Technician certification
Knowledge of medication administration and safety procedures
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and caring attitude towards seniors

Responsibilities

Administer medication to residents as prescribed by their physician
Document medication administration accurately and timely
Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medication
Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding medication orders and changes
Maintain accurate medication records and ensure they are up-to-date
Assist with resident care as needed
