Requirements
- Valid certification as a Medication Technician or similar credential, as required by state or local regulations
- Prior experience working in a senior care or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects and report findings to healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation for each resident
- Assist residents with daily activities and personal care as needed, fostering a respectful and supportive environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to ensure proper medication management
- Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times
- Educate residents and their families about medication routines and any potential side effects
