About The Position
We are seeking a Lead Medication Technician to join our team! Competitive pay. The successful candidate will dispense medications to residents at our Assisted Living community and oversee the care and medication needs of our Memory Care Wing. Immediate hire for the right person. Previous experience required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Med Tech or Certified Nursing Assistant
- Previous supervisor or management experience
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
- Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Must be able to clear post-offer fingerprint background check and employment physical
Responsibilities
- Communicating with resident care director on resident changes, medication updates, etc.
- Ensure Department is Title XXII compliant at all times
- Following all medication guidelines that were given in medication training
- Pull, pour, assist residents with medications
- Ensure resident care is being done per assessment and documenting
- Assist with med-room tasks
- Assist and manage resident emergencies
