Hospital Details VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community comprised of a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living unit. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Vibralife is a beautiful, one-story, state-of-the-art facility that includes the Vibra Rehabilitation Center and Vibra Senior Living. Expertly designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post injury or illness, VibraLife delivers a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to follow departmental safety, sanitation and hazardous waste procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to understand and respect confidential nature of resident charts and medical information.
  • Ability to deal with residents and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to deal with emergencies in a composed manner.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting residents, their family members and prospective residents as needed.
  • Supervises and records medications.
  • Assists residents with all activities of daily living when necessary.
  • Assists residents in or out of bed.
  • Takes and records vital signs.
  • Communicates with Physicians and consultants, and provides follow up.
  • Makes Physician appointments and arranges transportation if needed.
  • Responsible for knowledge of and compliance with state regulations, filing necessary reports, and assisting in training new employees.
  • Responds to emergency alert calls.
  • Helps maintain the self respect, personal dignity and physical safety of each resident.
