As a Medication Technician at our premier senior living retirement community, you will play a crucial role in providing direct resident care services, including the distribution of medications to residents. Your responsibilities will include following individualized care plans for all residents, performing resident assessments as required by state standards and facility policies, and reporting any changes in residents' conditions to your supervisor or the Executive Director. You will be expected to observe residents closely for any changes in their health status and provide timely interventions as necessary, ensuring that all relevant information is communicated effectively to care staff and family members as instructed. In addition to medication administration, you will document all pertinent observations, incidents, and communications related to resident care throughout your shift. This documentation must be completed by the end of each shift to maintain accurate records. You will also oversee the timely documentation of services provided by Resident Assistants and ensure that individualized care plans for each resident are current and maintained. Other duties may be assigned by your supervisor as needed, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
