About The Position

The Medication Technician - Centralized Triage position is a per diem role located in Warrenville, IL. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The primary responsibility of this role is to process prescription refill and medication prior authorizations following designated protocols, under the direction of the provider and RN for the Elmhurst primary care clinics.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain a Pharmacy Technician certification by a national certification test.
• Experience with an EMR; EPIC preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document legibly.
• Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician licensure.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician with CPhT certification highly preferred, or must obtain within two years of licensure requirement, or an active student in an accredited school of Pharmacy or have maintained active Pharmacy Technician licensure with IL since Jan 2008.
