About The Position

The Medication Technician position at Endeavor Health is a per diem role located in Warrenville, IL. This position requires the technician to process prescription refill and medication prior authorizations following designated protocols, under the direction of the provider and RN for the Elmhurst primary care clinics. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and the role is as needed, meaning it does not have a fixed schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain a Pharmacy Technician certification by a national certification test.
• Experience with an EMR; EPIC preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document legibly.
• Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician licensure.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with CPhT certification highly preferred, or must obtain within two years of licensure requirement.
• Active student in an accredited school of Pharmacy or maintained active Pharmacy Technician licensure with IL since January 2008.
