About The Position

Qualified applicants must have a Pharmacy Technician License in Massachusetts. Performs medication reconciliation on admitted patients in the Emergency Care Center. Must be able to interact with hospital personnel and interview patients to obtain accurate and up-to-date medications.

Requirements

Pharmacy Technician License in Massachusetts
Minimum of 3 months of pharmacy experience
Excellent verbal/written skills
Demonstrate knowledge of medications
Positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills
Computer literate
High school diploma
Certification license by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy
Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas
Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation

Experience in interviewing patients
