Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, the Medication Reconciliation Technician assists pharmacists in obtaining an accurate list of prior to admission medications by interviewing patients and consulting with outpatient pharmacies. This role involves obtaining medication histories in the Emergency Department and inpatient areas, playing an integral part in preventing medication errors due to inaccurate or incomplete information. The technician is expected to provide exemplary service to internal customers and embody BMC’s values in all interactions. This position requires rotation through days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
