About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: Responsible for reviewing, clarifying, and documenting home medication lists of all patients admitted to the hospital. May also be required, under the supervision and direction of a pharmacist, to fill medication orders and perform related duties; and transport medications. The Medication Reconciliation Tech performs duties functioning in accordance with national and state standards, laws, and practices. Assists pharmacists as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or eight years equivalent experience)
• Kansas State Board of Pharmacy registered technician preferred

Nice To Haves

• Two years related experience preferred
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred
• CPhT certification preferred
