About The Position

This position exists to work independently and as part of a team responsible for
reconciling patients' medication regimens during the admission process.
Medication reconciliation is defined as obtaining a complete and accurate
medication history with the involvement of the patient and/or family; comparison
of a patient's home medications to the medications ordered on admission and
identification of discrepancies, followed by a clarification of any noted
discrepancies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy Technician registration through Alabama Board of Pharmacy
• National Technician Certification recognized by ALBOP

Nice To Haves

• College courses desirable
• Two years in clinical setting preferred
• Pharmacy experience preferred
