Requirements

  • PMHNP
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • SUD/MAT experience preferred
  • Substance Used Disorder programming and Medication Assisted Treatment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • FT position based out of Ames Clinic. M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Practice autonomously and in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients’ psychiatric illnesses in an Open Access Center setting, as well as manage long-term clients
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management and follow-up medication management to patients
  • Treat crisis situations and emergencies, as needed
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
  • Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Target candidate open to working w/full Age Range - Adolescents/Juvenile age ranges a strong preference.
