About The Position

The Medication Partner position at Arrow Senior Living involves providing compassionate care to residents in a home-like environment. The role emphasizes empathy, connection, and engagement with residents during their vulnerable moments. Medication Partners are responsible for the proper administration of medication, maintaining medication carts, and assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The position requires a commitment to creating an inclusive and positive environment and being proactive in supporting residents.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be appropriately certified per state guidelines and certification is active and in good standing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Positive and energetic attitude towards residents.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
  • Good health verified by a health screening performed by a physician.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper administration of medication.
  • Maintain medication carts and proper recordkeeping.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
