This position requires population specific competencies. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. Requirements

Current Oklahoma Pharmacy license
2 years experience as a registered pharmacist
Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Nice To Haves

Masters degree or Pharmacy Doctorate degree preferred
2 years experience in a management position within a Department of Pharmacy or completion of a Pharmacy Practice residency from an accredited program preferred
15 hours of approved continuing education annually

Responsibilities

Supervises department staff, including hiring, staffing, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed
Researches problems in operational systems, and works toward resolution
Prepares reports concerning productivity, workforce levels, and quality assurance
Assists in the preparation of the departmental budget
