Responsible for gathering accurate medication histories information from patients arriving at the Emergency Department, this information is done by interviewing patient/family/significant other upon arrival to be admitted to the inpatient units. Completes various related administrative which alleviate pharmacist time. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Requires an appropriate level of understanding and training in medical terminology and medication related terms
  • One (1) year of experience as a pharmacy tech in a retail setting.
  • Or, six month experience conducting medication histories and/or similar experiences
  • Pharmacy registration with Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection required by March 31st of each year.

Responsibilities
