About The Position

Eventide-Tabitha is currently hiring for a Part-Time Medication Aide (MA40) for an Evening shift 2p-10p (8 Hours). This position is every other weekend and holiday rotation The Medication Aide requires an active, good-standing MA40 and CNA license required. Ideal Candidate: At least age 18. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred. Evaluates emergency situations, performing CPR when necessary, based on training. Essential Job Duties: Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence. Assists with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees. Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation. Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/ overlapping Senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs, call lights, when necessary. Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Tabitha, regardless of TEAMember preference. Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client. Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by insuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times. Additional essential functions while utilizing a MA40 : Prepares and administers medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, within scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures. Evaluates emergency situations, performing CPR when necessary, based on training.

Requirements
