About The Position

Eventide-Tabitha is currently seeking a Medication Aide to work Part-Time Evenings. The Scheduled hours are from 2p-10pm (8 hour shifts); Every other weekend with a holiday rotation. The Medication Aide does require an active, good standing MA40 and a CNA license. Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence. Assists with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees. Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation. Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/ overlapping Senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs, call lights, when necessary. Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Tabitha, regardless of TEAMember preference. Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual Senior/client. Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by insuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times. Additional essential functions while working in a Residential Style Living Community: Prepares breakfast, snacks and other foods requested by/for Senior/client. Processes Senior/client laundry Evaluates emergency situations, performing CPR when necessary, based on training. Additional essential functions utilizing MA40 : Prepares and administers medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, within scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures.
