Requirements

Hold an active California Medication Aide certification (or meet state requirements).
Have strong communication and documentation skills.
Demonstrate compassion, patience, and attention to detail.
Are comfortable using electronic systems for charting and medication documentation.
Are dependable and flexible when picking up PRN shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely administer medications according to physician orders and individualized care plans.
Accurately document medication administration and maintain required records.
Observe residents for changes in condition or potential side effects and promptly report concerns.
Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
Support a safe, positive, and respectful living environment for residents and team members.
Follow all community policies, state regulations, and medication safety standards.
