Requirements

  • Current Medication Aide certification (required)
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
  • Accurately document medication administration in the electronic medical record
  • Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns promptly
  • Assist nursing staff with resident care as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations and facility procedures
