About The Position
We are currently seeking Medication Aide's to join our team in assisted living and healthcare departments. Previous Medication Aide experience is a plus, as well as experience in an assisted living setting. Under the direct supervision of our LPN's, the Medication Aide : Responsible for ensuring residents receive medications and treatments as indicated on the eMAR. Assist residents with their ADLs as needed. Maintains clinical and professional competency. Current shift opportunities available: 3-11-Full-Time
Requirements
- Requires graduation from an approved Medication Technician program in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Mediciation Aide License (Required)
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Must have good assessment, communication, clinical and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to communicate in English
Nice To Haves
- Previous Medication Aide experience is a plus
- Experience in an assisted living setting
