About The Position

The Kansas Certified Medication Aide position is a full-time role with hours from 10pm to 6:30am, primarily in Memory Care and Assisted Living settings. The position offers a weekday shift differential of $2 and a weekend shift differential of $4. Candidates must be Kansas Certified Medication Aides with at least 2 years of experience. Open interviews are held every Thursday from 10am to 3pm at Brookdale Overland Park, located at 12000 Lamar Ave, Overland Park, KS 66209. Requirements

  • Must be a Kansas Certified Medication Aide.
  • At least 2 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider.
  • Observe and report responses to medication to your supervisor.
  • Ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean.
  • Assist with medication cart audits and provide accurate counts of all medications.
  • Communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
