Job Description: POSITION TYPE: Full-time, 100% remote. Candidates must have reliable internet access and a suitable remote work environment SCOPE: The Medication Access & Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for evaluating payer coverage pathways and coordinating patient access to oncology therapies across medical and pharmacy benefits. This role serves as a critical operational link between infusion services, specialty pharmacy, revenue cycle, and procurement, ensuring optimal drug channel selection, reimbursement capture, and timely patient access. This position supports enterprise-wide oncology operations by aligning drug access strategies with payer requirements, financial performance goals, and patient affordability programs.)

Requirements

2–5+ years of experience in: o Oncology medication access, reimbursement, or specialty pharmacy o OR infusion center financial navigation / prior authorization
Strong understanding of: o Medical vs. pharmacy benefit structures o Oncology drug reimbursement (J-codes, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy models)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, and Crystal Report Writer
Must type a minimum of 65 wpm.
Demonstrated knowledge of payer coverage policies and prior authorization processes.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of 340B and GPO purchasing implications preferred.
Experience with specialty pharmacy platforms (e.g., PioneerRx, HouseRx, etc.) preferred.
Familiarity with manufacturer assistance programs and foundations.
