About The Position

Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking a Medicare Stars Program Manager to lead program governance and drive quality improvement initiatives that support our organization’s Star rating goals. This role requires strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, vendor oversight, and strategic execution of initiatives that enhance member and provider experiences through education and quality strategies. This role allows for a flexible hybrid schedule (onsite Meridian Idaho campus, and work-from-home). Reports to the Director, Medicare Stars Program. #LI-Hybrid Why Join Us? Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in healthcare or health insurance; quality-focused experience preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (two years of relevant experience equals one year of college).

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Medicare Stars ratings, CMS regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with contract and/or project management.
  • Understanding of pharmacy and drug benefit programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the Medicare Stars Program, providing guidance on technical specifications, timelines, and performance measures.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain measure tracking in alignment with the Stars dashboard.
  • Manage vendor contracting, oversight, and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and measure owners to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Deliver executive-level updates and presentations to leadership on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and CMS regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
