About The Position

Medicare Set Aside (MSA) Nurse Reviewer will compose a written document that provides a comprehensive, clear, and concise analysis of medical records provided by claims adjusters. The MSA Nurse Reviewer will accurately assess future medical care with associated costs to develop a complete Medicare Set-Aside Allocation, Future Medical Cost Projection, or a Life Care Plan.

Requirements

• Experience in Workers’ Compensation Medicare Set-Aside (WC-MSA) or Workers’ Compensation Nurse Case Management.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Nebraska or any NLC state.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience in orthopedics, neurology, or rehabilitation.
• Proficiency with ICD-10-CM and CPT coding.
• Proficient in Math, Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Understanding of workers’ compensation statutes.
