About The Position

The Medicare Sales Field Agent position at Humana involves engaging with the Medicare population to drive sales and build community relationships. This role requires licensed individuals who are self-motivated and capable of working independently while meeting sales goals. Agents will interact with customers through various channels, including face-to-face meetings, virtual interactions, and telephonic communications, to educate beneficiaries about Humana's health plan products and services.

Requirements

• Active Health Insurance license or ability to obtain prior to the start date.
• Experience with technology, including high-level use of laptops and mobile applications, and understanding of CRM tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to have daily face-to-face interactions with prospective members in the field.
• Clear and valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance license.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Prior experience in TEAMS and PowerPoint.
• Experience engaging with the community through service, organizations, activities, and volunteerism.
• Experience selling Medicare products.
• Bilingual with the ability to speak, read, and write in another language.

Responsibilities

• Build community relationships and drive self-generated sales.
• Meet sales goals and metrics while working independently.
• Interact with Humana's customers and external business partners through face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic interactions.
• Conduct grassroots marketing and field sales community events.
• Visit prospects in their homes to sell individual health plan products.
