As a Medical Underwriter, you will learn to analyze new business health insurance applications in order to assess risk of future claims for Our Company at an experienced level position. You must be an experienced medical underwriter, trainable to learn our in-house guidelines and systems, self-motivated, able to work independently, confident in making your own decisions, have the ability to analyze medical information, work well with other team members, communicate effectively orally and written. This position is exempt/salary full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Candidate must reside in Central Time Zone. Employees are required to work normal business hours of 8am-6pm Thursdays and 8am-5pm Monday through Wednesday & Friday. Thursdays employees will be required to work 8am-6pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work overtime or weekends. If you are located in Central time zone, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
