About The Position

Medical Technology Careers at Kent Hospital!! Kent Hospital is located on 57 acres in the Toll Gate section of Warwick (11 miles south of Providence) and is the second largest single-site hospital in the state. Kent provides a full complement of inpatient services including: Cardiology and extended coronary care Infectious disease Primary care Oncology Orthopedics Obstetrics and gynecology Rehabilitation Surgery Job Summary: Responsible for analyzing, evaluating and interpreting various specimens for the detection, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of medical conditions.

Requirements

• MLT: An Associates degree in Medical lab Technology and a minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent is required.
• RI License and ASCP/AMT is also required.
• MT: A Bachelors degree in Medical technology or Specific Science and a minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent is required.
• RI License and ASCP or NCA is also required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for analyzing, evaluating and interpreting various specimens for the detection, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of medical conditions.
