About The Position
The Medical Technologist position at Methodist Medical Center involves performing routine and complex tests in various laboratory sections including blood bank, serology-urinalysis, coagulation, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology. The role requires the use of both manual and automated procedures to ensure high-quality results. The Medical Technologist will assist technical specialists with the management of assigned sections and is responsible for maintaining quality control measures, troubleshooting equipment issues, and training new staff. This full-time position requires working 80 hours per pay period with variable shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for qualified candidates.
