Requirements

• NY State License Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• Bachelor’s degree in laboratory related area.
• One year full time or equivalent hospital experience including phlebotomy.

• ASCP preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory tests relevant to the section(s) in which they are assigned including quality control testing following established criteria.
• Performs clerical and computer related activities
• Performs phlebotomy with a degree of supervision dependent on experience and training.
• Interacts with patients of all ages.
