About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to join our hospital laboratory team. The role covers Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology sections, providing high-quality testing in a fast-paced, acute care environment. This position works independently, performing stat and routine testing while maintaining regulatory compliance and quality standards.

Requirements

Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology preferred
Florida Medical Technologist License REQUIRED
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist REQUIRED
Strong independent judgment, attention to detail, and workflow organization skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology preferred

Responsibilities

Perform stat and routine testing in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology
Conduct quality control, proficiency testing, delta checks, and critical result protocols
Assume departmental responsibility in the absence of a supervisor
Maintain accurate documentation, review pending logs, and troubleshoot equipment issues
Support CAP regulatory compliance and manage supply inventory
