This role involves collecting and preparing specimens, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and performing automated and manual tests on blood and other bodily fluids. The Medical Technologist ensures accuracy and reliability of test results through strict adherence to quality assurance protocols and organizational standards, documenting and reporting findings to clinical staff for patient care decision-making.
