About The Position

The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for performing technical testing in a laboratory area (chemistry, special chemistry, urinalysis, serology, microbiology, blood bank, or hematology/coagulation). The MT/MLS performs clinical diagnostic testing to aid physicians and clinical care team in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or laboratory science or alternative qualification through a CLIA recognized experience and examination program.
• Registered or eligible for registration as a Medical Technologist, MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), HEW or CLT(NCA) is required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior critical care or intensive care experience is preferred.
• One (1) year of Medical Laboratory experience is preferred.
• BLS certification is preferred.
