About The Position

This is a full-time, third-shift position (10 PM–6:30 AM) with rotating weekends, offering competitive pay, bonuses, and relocation assistance. Your Role as a Medical Technologist As a Medical Technologist , you’ll perform vital clinical laboratory testing to support patient care.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist.
• Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology preferred.
• Certifications: Active State of Florida Technologist License required.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with lab information systems.
• Passion: A commitment to delivering accurate lab results and supporting high-quality patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stat and routine lab tests in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, and other sections under written procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Analyze and interpret patient results using independent judgment to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform quality control procedures, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and maintain compliance with CAP and other regulatory standards.
• Handle specimen collection, processing, and referral testing as needed.
• Monitor reagent and supply inventories, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Support the department in achieving goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction.
