About The Position
Oviedo Medical Center is seeking a hospital-based Medical Technologist PRN to provide expertise and champion results. This role is part of a committed, caring group of colleagues who value the patient experience. The Medical Technologist will perform accurate and timely laboratory testing, assume departmental responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor, and ensure all required records and documentation pertaining to patient results are completed. The position requires good judgment and independent thinking in the correlation and interpretation of patient results, as well as performing quality control procedures and handling critical laboratory specimens/test results.
