About The Position

The Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician will be responsible for independently performing, interpreting, and correlating clinical laboratory tests to assist physician diagnosis and treatment. The role involves performing testing according to established policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician for Medical Laboratory Technician role.
• Must obtain Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) credential within 9 months of hire.
• Diploma in Medical Technology for Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist role.
• Must obtain Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT/MLS) credential within 9 months of hire.
• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS license).
• Medical Technologist (MT license).
• Molecular Biology (MB) certification.
• Specialist in Microbiology (SM) certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform clinical laboratory tests.
• Interpret and correlate test results to assist in physician diagnosis and treatment.
